For the Spring 2017 semester, all Woodland Community College students are invited to submit the following types of work:
Ø Memoirs, musings, reports, or observations
Ø Personal narratives/autobiographical works
Ø Flash fiction/short fiction/chapters of longer works
Ø Original artwork (send a photo or scan of your work)
Ø Original photography
All entries will be considered. Top works in each category will be published in the Spring 2017 Issue of Ink, A Literary Arts Magazine
Ø Students must be enrolled in at least one WCC class in Spring 2017 to participate.
Ø Written work must be formatted in MLA style (exceptions made for poems of specified/free verse form) and no longer than 1,500 words.
Ø Include a brief bio of yourself with your submission.
Ø Work must be submitted electronically via email to email@example.com, and it must not have been previously published.
Ø When you submit, WCC acquires First Rights, or one-time rights. Copyright reverts back to author/artist after publication.
Ø There is no limit to the number of entries students can submit.
